About Me - Kathy White Marriage & Family Therapist

Hello. I'm Kathy White, and I'm a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT).

That means that I am a psychotherapist licensed by the State of California.
MFT's specialize in relationships, and from my experience, relationships
provide the context for the majority of our struggles. In order to receive my
license, I completed a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology along
with more than 3,000 hours of supervised experience, and passed both
a written and oral examination. Continuing Education is required to
maintain my license. I have been practicing therapy for fifteen years.

I am a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) and the local
Santa Clara Valley Chapter. My husband and I have been married for over 25 years and we have two
grown children. Before working as a therapist, my husband and I ran a family business together.
